Aging In Place in Centre County, Pa
AGING...one of life's challenges
...Where will we live?
...Who will care for our needs?
...How will we get help?
...When will we need to decide?
Aging in Place/Centre County, Inc. seeks to provide some answers
AiP, Aging in Place/Centre County, offers participants and their families peace of mind, security and confidence to live independently in their homes by providing practical resources and social support that individuals need as they grow older. Participation gives individuals access to reliable providers for daily living needs, health assistance and home maintenance.
Across the United States, from Massachusetts to California, from Washington D.C. to Washington State, groups have organized locally to meet the needs of people who are facing these challenges and looking for an alternative to institutional living.
By calling one number, AiP/Centre County participants could access screened providers for a spectrum of services including home and lawn care, transportation, delivery services, and home health care. Services would also be provided by fellow partipants volunteering their assistance, thereby keeping cost to a minimum.
AiP/Centre County is a non-profit corporation in the state of Pennsylvania and a 501(c)3 tax deductible corp. for the Federal Gov't. To date, AiP/Centre County has operated as a Steering Committee.
